Cooperstown 1, Frankfort-Schuyler 0
Sophomore Hayden Spencer’s game winner with 16:38 left in regulation gave Cooperstown a senior day win over Frankfort-Schuyler on Wednesday, Oct. 9, in a Center State Conference Division II match at Lambert Field 2.
Senior Riley Diamond assisted Spencer.
Cooperstown outshot F-S, 16-11, and had an advantage on corner kicks, 5-3.
Junior Cooper Coleman had eight saves.
Nick Russo had six saves for Frankfort-Schuyler (7-4-1, 4-2-1).
Cooperstown (9-4, 5-2) celebrated eight seniors, Diamond, Cooper Bradley, Paul Crowell, Roland Gardner-Olesen, Owen Marling, Andrew Miller, Janak Pandit and Caleb Rosa.
The Hawkeyes will play at Waterville in a CSC non-division match Monday, Oct. 14.
