WRESTLING
Cooperstown/Milford 45, Herkimer 18
Cooperstown/Milford dominated visiting Herkimer in a Center State Conference East dual meet Tuesday, Jan. 7, at Anton Remy Gymnasium in Milford.
The Hawkeyes got pins from: Max Koffer (131) over Ryan Brinkerhoff, in 45 seconds; Theo Spinosa (138) over Mason Bennett, in 1:25; Thomas Geertgens (145) over Thomas Goonan, in 52 seconds; Eddie Worman (152) over Taner Moss,, in 32 seconds; Elias Miritello (190) over Oliver Boncella, in 45 seconds; and Matt Perrino (215) over Daniel Stoffolano, in 1:48.
C/M also got wins from Max Sharf (285) over Ross Richard, 9-0; and Max Pelcer (116) over Gunnar Richard by technical fall, 17-2.
C/M will wrestle a non-conference dual meet against Tully at Southern Hills on Thursday, Jan. 9.

BOWLING
Cooperstown 4, Sherburne-Earlville 1
Kaden Card rolled a high series of 591, and Anthony McCoy rolled a game-high 258, as Cooperstown won a match between Center State Conference West leaders, giving host Sherburne-Earlville its first loss of the season, Tuesday at Hi-Skor Lanes in Earlville.
McCoy scored 216-158-197 for a 571 series. Card scored 180-224-187 for a 591 series.
Leland Smith rolled a 578 series to lead S-E (5-1, 2-1).
Cooperstown (6-0, 4-0) hosts West Canada Valley for a CSC non-division match Thursday.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Cooperstown 46, Frankfort-Schuyler 26
Senior Mia Kaltenbach and junior Katie Crippen each scored nine points as Cooperstown topped the visiting Maroon Knights in a CSC non-division game Tuesday.
Cooperstown led after one quarter, 20-8, and at halftime, 38-11.
Crippen also had five rebounds and four steals.
Eighth grader Emma Johnson had eight points 10 rebounds and two steals. Senior Brenna Seamon had five points, 11 rebounds, three steals and four assists. Eighth grader Lanie Nelen scored seven points, senior Polly Kennedy scored six points and senior Bella Reich scored two points.
Leigh Ferguson scored nine points to lead F-S (4-5, 1-1).
Cooperstown (8-3, 1-1) hosts Waterville in a CSC Division II game Thursday.
