Koffer, Clements go undefeated

Senior heavyweight Lucas Clements and junior 124-pounder Max Koffer went undefeated at the Mount Markham Mustang Duals in West Winfield on Friday, Jan. 17, and Saturday, Jan. 18.

Cooperstown/Milford finished 1-9 overall, beating Herkimer, 45-30.

Clements went 2-0, with pins over Herkimer’s Tristan Vandenberg (5:45) and Deakon Elthorp (2:25).

Koffer went 4-0, with wins over Beakmantown’s Ezra Lewandowski (pin 1:19), Whitesboro’s John McNeil (pin 2:12), Saran’s Owen Stiles (pin :46) and a majority decision over Goshan’s Kevin Mikhaylov, 16-3.

In addition senior Max Sharf (285) went 9-1, junior Matt Perrino (215) went 8-2, and freshman Max Pelcer (108) went 8-2.

Kaleb Chase (131), Thomas Geertgens (145), Elias Miritello (190), Theo Spinosa (138), David Pitt (119), Alyssa Stone (101) and Eddie Worman (152) also got wins over the weekend.

Cooperstown/Milford goes to Adirondack for a Center State Conference meet Wednesday, Jan. 22.
