Jensen wins Class C state title in 800
2:12.41 finish tops all small school runners, places 12th overall

NYSPHSAA Track and Field Championships
Senior Annelise Jensen topped all the runners in Class C in the 800 to win a state title at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Track and Field Championships on Friday, June 13, in Middletown.
Jensen broke her own school record and personal best, clocking the race in 2:12.41. Among all classes, she placed 12th. Anna Congelli from Tully placed second in Class C at 2:15.28.
Jane Hickey from Ursuline School won the Class A title and placed first overall at 2:05.62.
Jensen will run in the 1,500 on Saturday in Middletown.
Senior Cooper Bradley will also compete.
