Seamon makes all-state Class C third team
Girls basketball honor for senior leader tops Cooperstown's winter awards

Cooperstown senior Dani Seamon made third team all-state in Class C in the post-season girls basketball awards, the New York State Sports Writers Association announced Friday, April 21.
Seamon, who helped lead her team to a Section III Class C title and a 19-6 record in 2022-23, was also the Center State Conference Division III player of the year. She was named an all star by newspapers in Oneonta, Utica and Syracuse.
Junior Rory Nelen also made the CSC DIII all-star team. Seniors Claire Jensen and Savannah Kirkby were named honorable mention.
Seamon and her teammates were not the only Cooperstown athletes honored for their winter sports accomplishments.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Junior Charlie Lambert was named all state Class C on the 10th team and a CSC Division II all star. Lambert was honorable mention all state as a sophomore.

VOLLEYBALL
Senior Braeden Victory and junior Sophia Hotaling were named CSC Division II all stars. Junior Lucy Hayes and senior Robyn Kafafian were named as honorable mention.
Victory and Hotaling were also selected as Section III Class C all stars.
SWIMMING
Cherry Valley-Springfield eighth grader Macon Aramini, who swims for Cooperstown, was selected as a Tri-Valley League all star, based on his 5:22 in the 500 freestyle.Â
WRESTLING
Milford junior T.J. O’Connor, who wrestles for Cooperstown, was named a Center State Conference all star at 132 pounds. Cooperstown senior Henry Loeffler was named as honorable mention at 172 pounds.
